When a published article gets a fact wrong, we fix it on the article. We do not quietly delete it.

What we correct

A wrong result, name, time, title, date, or quote. A headline or summary the sources do not support. A label that no longer fits, such as a rumor the company has since confirmed or denied.

How to ask

Use the contact form. Include the article URL, the passage, and a link to a source that shows the correct fact.

What a correction looks like

The article gets a note saying what was wrong and what it says now. The Last updated date changes. The original publication date stays.
