RingZine
Editorial policy
Every RingZine story carries one of two labels at the top of the page and on every story list.
Confirmed
An official source backs the story. That means a WWE or AEW results page, an official announcement or match page, or something said on the promotion's own broadcast. The official source is linked in the article and listed at the bottom.
Rumor
A named outlet reported the information and the company has not confirmed it. The article names the outlet, links its report, and says what the company has and has not said. A Rumor story may still include confirmed facts, and it marks which parts are which.
When a label changes
If the company later confirms a rumor, or a report is shown to be wrong, we update the article, change the label if needed, add a note saying what changed, and move the Last updated date.
Answer first
Results stories open with the outcome. Readers should not have to scroll to learn who won or whether a title changed hands.
What we leave out
We do not publish invented results, unattributed backstage claims, or anything that suggests a real person committed misconduct without an authoritative source. See Sources & Ethics and Corrections.
