RingZine
Sources & Ethics
These are RingZine's publishing rules. How stories are labelled is set out in the editorial policy. How we fix mistakes is on Corrections.
Sources
Every factual claim links a named source in the sentence it supports. For results, that source is the official WWE or AEW results page or broadcast. For news, it is the company's announcement or the outlet that reported it. The source list at the bottom repeats each page with its title, publisher, and date.
We do not invent results, quotes, times, or backstage reports. Wording is our own, and any quote is brief and attributed.
Rumors and reports
A report from another outlet is attributed to that outlet by name and linked. We say plainly when a company has not confirmed it. We do not repeat anonymous claims that no named outlet has published.
People
Wrestling storylines are scripted. We describe on screen events as what happened on the show, not as real conduct by the performers. We do not suggest a real person did something wrong unless an authoritative source says so, and we do not speculate about anyone's health, finances, or private life beyond what a named source reports.
Pictures
We do not use WWE or AEW footage or photographs. Images are original graphic cards made for RingZine.
