AEW brings Fright Night Dynamite to Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis tonight, Wednesday, October 28, with Darby Allin defending the TNT Championship against Josh Alexander, according to AEW's event page and the lineup AEW posted on October 25, as reported by PWMania. The show airs at 8 p.m. ET on TBS and HBO Max.
Announced card
- TNT Championship: Darby Allin (c) vs. Josh Alexander
- TBS Championship: Persephone (c) vs. Queen Aminata
- Best of 5 series, Match 3: FTR vs. the Motor City Machine Guns
Why these matches matter
Alexander, a member of the Don Callis Family, challenged Allin on Collision after back to back wins, AEW said in its October 25 post. Allin and Alexander have never met one on one, Sports Illustrated noted.
Queen Aminata earned her shot at Persephone by beating Maya World last week, per the same preview.
FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns are tied at one win each. FTR took Match 2 on the October 24 Collision after Cash Wheeler grabbed the ropes out of the referee's view, according to AEW's Collision results. Tonight's winner moves within one win of taking the series.
AEW's event page bills the night as Fright Night: Dynamite and Collision. RingZine will post full results after the show.
