How Zayn survived
The first version of the main event did not last. Wrestleview's live report says the referee called for the bell and a disqualification after Johnny Gargano pulled Williams off a pin. General Manager Nick Aldis then sent Gargano, Candice LeRae and Lil Yachty away from ringside and ordered the match restarted with no disqualifications, WWE said.
The second half brought in kendo sticks, trash cans and steel chairs. WWE's recap says Zayn used the referee as a shield, landed a low blow and then hit Williams with the title belt to get the pin. Zayn now goes into his champion versus champion match with Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel on November 7.
Green retains, then chaos
Bella hit the Rack Attack, but Green's leg was under the ropes, according to WWE. Moments later Green rolled Bella up for the win. After the match, Women's Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez attacked Green and Tiffany Stratton, who looked ready to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Liv Morgan. IYO SKY ran in to even the odds.
The Demon returns
Danhausen's "very evil experiment" turned out to be Finn Bálor in his Demon persona. After Gunther attacked Danhausen, Bálor hit the Coup de Grace off a ladder to send Gunther through the announce table, WWE reported. The two have been linked on SmackDown for weeks.
