WWE brought its Road to Survivor Series: WarGames live event tour to the Cross Insurance Arena in Portland, Maine, on Thursday, 5 November, with CM Punk defeating Kevin Owens in a Street Fight main event.
The match began as a standard singles contest and ended in a double count out, according to the results published by PWMania. The bout was then restarted under Street Fight rules, with Punk taking the victory.
The card also featured several championship matches. Rey Fénix defeated Johnny Gargano to retain the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship, while Trick Williams beat Damian Priest to keep the WWE United States Championship. Ethan Page retained the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a triple threat match against Dominik Mysterio and Chad Gable.
In tag team action, 946, comprising Bronco Nima and Carmelo Hayes, defeated The Usos. The six woman tag match saw Iyo Sky, Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice defeat Fatal Influence, whose team included WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
The event opened with Big Cass defeating Joe Hendry. The results were reported as a live event card rather than a televised broadcast. The available reports provide match outcomes, not a basis for claims about televised footage or broadcast segments.
The Portland show was part of WWE’s build towards Survivor Series: WarGames. The combination of title defences and a Street Fight finish gave the touring card a main event with a distinct stipulation after the original contest failed to produce a decision.
