All Elite Wrestling raised the stakes for its World Trios Championship match at Full Gear, confirming Texas Death rules after Wednesday’s Dynamite, POST Wrestling reported.
The stipulation change
POST Wrestling said Swerve Strickland had campaigned for Texas Death rules against champions Hangman Adam Page and Brodido. After Strickland kidnapped, bloodied and took Bandido’s mask on a prior show, Bandido pushed for the same stipulation. AEW then made Texas Death official for Full Gear: Page, Bandido and Brody King versus Strickland, Austin Creed and Kofi for the AEW World Trios Championships.
Fightful’s matching report also frames the bout as a Texas Deathmatch on the 14 November Phoenix card.

POST Wrestling’s updated checklist also lists Will Ospreay defending the AEW World Championship against Kyle Fletcher, plus the already reported Mercedes Moné versus Marina Shafir Women’s World title match, an Anarchy in the Arena bout between The Cut and a Death Riders / Conglomeration coalition, and tag title matches for the Young Bucks and for Alex Windsor & Jamie Hayter. RingZine’s earlier Moné-Shafir piece stands; this update focuses on the trios stipulation and the wider card shape around Ospreay-Fletcher.
What “Texas Death” changes
A Texas Death stipulation typically means the match continues past pinfalls or submissions until a fighter cannot answer a referee’s count, increasing the expected violence and finish logic versus a standard trios title match. AEW’s Dynamite confirmation is the sourcing for the rule set; exact house rules will be those AEW states on the broadcast and PLE graphic.
