Tommaso Ciampa Wins AEW National Championship From Andrade on Jericho Cruise

Tommaso Ciampa is the new AEW National Champion after defeating Andrade El Idolo in the main event of AEW Collision on Saturday, November 7, 2026.

The title change took place aboard the Norwegian Jewel in Miami, Florida, during Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea event, which hosted a live edition of Collision.

The victory reversed Ciampa's defeat to Andrade at WrestleDream and provided the biggest development of an episode that also advanced several storylines heading into Full Gear.

Ciampa Captures the National Championship

Ciampa and Andrade met in a rematch of their WrestleDream championship encounter, where Andrade had successfully retained the title.

Saturday's match featured several near falls and a decisive sequence involving referee Aubrey Edwards.

According to POST Wrestling and PWInsider, Edwards was knocked down when Andrade avoided a charging Ciampa.

Andrade subsequently connected with his DM finishing move and covered Ciampa, but the referee was unable to count the pin.

Ciampa took advantage of the situation by delivering a low blow and running knee. Andrade survived the resulting pin attempt after Edwards recovered.

The two continued exchanging offense before Andrade attempted another finishing sequence.

Ciampa countered and caught the defending champion in a pinning combination to secure the three-count and win the championship.

AEW celebrated the title change through its official social media account.

Following the match, Ciampa celebrated at ringside with his wife and daughter, placing the championship belt over his daughter's shoulder.

Mike Bailey also appeared after the finish to check on Andrade, according to Pro Wrestling Dot Net's coverage.

Other Collision Results and Storyline Developments

The November 7 broadcast included several additional matches and developments.

Chris Jericho defeated Blake Christian by submission using the Walls of Jericho.

Nick Wayne defeated Marcus Mathers, continuing his momentum after his recent victories over Jericho.

FTR, represented by Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, defeated the Motor City Machine Guns in the fourth match of their best-of-five series.

The result tied the series at 2-2 and established a deciding match at Full Gear.

Elsewhere, Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia and Gabe Kidd of the Death Riders defeated Shane Taylor Promotions in six-man tag team action.

The Death Riders' rivalry with The Cut escalated afterward when Mercedes Moné joined The Cut in attacking the group. Jay White delivered the Blade Runner to Moxley during the confrontation.

Persephone also defeated Mina Shirakawa, adding another result to the night's card.

AEW Sets Up More Matches Ahead of Full Gear

Collision also established additional matches for AEW's November 11 programming in Salt Lake City.

A mixed tag team match was announced featuring Mercedes Moné and Jay White against Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir.

The booking continues the conflict between The Cut and the Death Riders while adding another chapter before Moné and Shafir's scheduled championship match at Full Gear on November 14.

AEW also announced an appearance involving Brodido and The New Level ahead of their Texas Death Match at Full Gear.

World Champion Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher were additionally scheduled for a face-to-face confrontation before their title match.

Ciampa's victory creates a new direction for the AEW National Championship, while Andrade exits the event without the belt.

Although Mike Bailey appeared after the main event, the verified November 7 reports do not establish a newly confirmed Ciampa versus Bailey championship match.

For now, the confirmed headline from Collision is Ciampa's title victory, achieved in the closing moments of AEW's special cruise-ship broadcast.
